Louis Estaque, MBA, Ph.D.
Vice President, Production
Louis Estaque obtained a doctorate in Chemistry-Physics from Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse ( France ) in 1972 and a Master of Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal in 1993. After pursuing postdoctoral studies at Université Laval in Québec from 1974 to 1975, Mr. Estaque worked as a Research Associate at CNRS (France) and the École Polytechnique ( Montreal ) from 1975 to 1981. He joined the Lasalle ( Quebec ) facility of Kraft Canada in 1981 where he headed a task force and pilot plant focused on high throughput instant coffee manufacturing. From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Estaque held the position of R&D Manager for Prolab Technologies Inc. (specializing in biolubricants), where he was responsible for setting up an R&D team, building a research laboratory and implementing a research program on biodegradable lubricants. He then joined the Kemestrie Inc. team as Operations Manager with a mandate to set up a new contract manufacturing business unit. Mr. Estaque joined Bioxel as Vice President, Production in 2001 and is in charge of taxane production operations. |
